Angela’s Story
Angela Dobson Peterson has been the proud owner and operator of Hupp Jewelers since 2018.
When Angela was 19 years old, she began working for the original owners of Hupp Jewelers, Jerry and Lynn Hupp.
Hupp Jewelers has been providing the Indianapolis area with honest, personal, and family service since 1977, when Jerry and Lynn first opened their doors.
Over the years, Angela has remained close to Jerry and Lynn, who consider Angela as family. Jerry and Lynn continue to support Angela and the store, whether in offering their assistance or to simply stop by and say hi.
Angela has worked in the jewelry industry for over 36 years. She is passionate about helping her customers select the perfect piece of jewelry, whether they are either purchasing a gift for someone special or adding to their personal collection.
Angela earned both her Bachelor’s and Master’s Degrees from Butler University. In addition, she holds several certifications from GIA, (Gemological Institute of America.)
Angela has been married to Jim Peterson for over 25 years. The couple have two sons, Ivan and Erik. Ivan works with the books and is more behind the scenes. In the fall of 2021, Erik graduated from New Approach School for Jewelers. He is apprenticing with local jewelers who are mentoring him to help him hone his craft. The family have a dog, Baron, and cat, Rocky.
In Angela’s spare time, she enjoys riding horses, reading, and traveling. She is a musician who enjoys playing the piano and singing in her church choir.

Hupp Jewelers is blessed to be a small business in the Indianapolis area located in Fishers and is glad to help support activities in the local community. Angela helps sponsor two local ball teams. She is also a supporter and the official jeweler for the Humane Society For Hamilton County.
Easy to get to! We are located on the northeast corner of East 96th Street and I-69. Right behind the McDonalds, and next door to the FedEx Store.
